Started painting the helmets details.




Now for my experiment... CRACKLING MEDIUM.

Here are the results.

Failure!!! Put too much of the medium. Worst thing is that this is the front part of the helmet.

Better success with the back part :(
Controlling this medium will take some practicing... :(

SAMURAI HELMET WIP 9

Managed to get some airbrushing done for the helmet. Using the salt technique the color scheme chosen was green on top of red rust. Using this model as a testing ground for some techniques i wish to apply for my Zaku head build off with white base. Anyway enough talking here are the pix.

Primed it with 500 surfacer.
