Ma.K. WIP 2 (Oil Drums)
Small update on the Ma.K. WIP
Learnt this from another online forum. How to make oil drums.
I decided that i would have some oil drum lying around rusting away with the suit. But don't know where to buy so the next best choice. Make ur self.
Start with a aluminium sheet try not to get one which is too thick or too thin. probably the thickness of your art block paper. Stick two rods to a piece of board and place the aluminium on top and rub.
Place a wire on the top and bottom of sheet and fold it.
Next get some thing round and just roll it.
Final result. Not perfect but im gonna crush it anyway :P If someone can find out how to do it better pls place another tutorial.

Suddenly interested in Ma.K. so i joint a local group build here's what i've done so far. :P
Started with the idea. The idea was to do something that I have not had the chance to do in a 28mm scale which was intense weathering and rusting to the point that it is a piece of junk. So i thought that 1/20 scale model would be great to try out all the techniques which i could not do in 28mm.
The title of this piece is "THE FORGOTTEN". The basic idea is a KIA Ma.K. suit and it has been left to rot and corrode.
I started with the head and how the pilot was killed. One shot to the forehead (Cliche i know). So i had so resculpt the head. And since the kit already had a head i decided waste not want not. :P
First step remove the 'flesh'. Had to shave the head and drill holes in the eye socket.
Step two cover it all again with green stuff.
Step three pick up your tools and work on it. (ok i know i missed a heck of a load of steps but i forgot to take pix of my progress). It has been too long since i sculpted and it did not turn out well but never mind the focus should be on the suit (i know excuses excuses... I suck...)
Then had to repose the suit and stuff in green stuff to all the joints. Again my lack of practice after leaving sculpting with green stuff for so many years shows.
So much more to go. Hope to be able to update soon :P

Gators FULL!!! Time to sleep...
Last Saturday was the Warmachine/Hordes Steamroller Tournament at Wolf's and me Gator's did me proud. I played my 50 pts Barnabas Tier 4 list.
Bloody Barnabas
x2 Wrestlers
x1 Ironback Spitter
Wrong Eye & Snap Jaw
x2 full units of Gatormen Posse
x1 min unit of Bog Trog Ambushers
1st Match: Gators vs Nick's Trollbloods
Mission: Grind
Gators managed a narrow win of 1-0. Trollbloods forgot about the ball. Calandra was too busy befuddling and starcrossing the gators and let one goal in.
2nd Match: Gators vs Jade's Everblight
Mission: Destruction
This was a really bad match-up. ELylyth and gang had trouble spotting the gators in their swamp puddle. And gators managed to destroy both of Everblight's objectives.
3rd Match: Gators vs Kong's Everblight
Mission: Demolition
This was a one in a million shot for me. Almost impossible to beat Kong's PTargosh and his 4 heavy warbeast. But as luck would have had it a huge mistake lead to the death of Targosh. Sealing the victory for the gators.
Now it is time to digest all the eaten foes and go to sleep.
